Come join us every Shabbat for meaningful Shabbat services. Emphasis is placed to have a Minyan on Shabbat Mevarchim (Shabbat we bless the coming month on the Jewish calendar – please check with us to confirm the schedule). Services are held at the Chabad Jewish Center, 219 Randolph St. in Oak Park.

    Friday night services begin at 7:00 PM during the Summer months and 10 minutes after candle lighting during the Winter months. Morning services begin at 10:00 AM.

    Our Shabbat services are traditional. Services are conducted primarily in Hebrew, our prayer books are written in both Hebrew and English, and the page numbers are announced continuously so you may always catch up if you prefer to meditate at a slower speed. The tunes are old, familiar ones, and they are sung by those of us who know the words and by those of us who can only hum along, with all the gusto befitting the joy of the Sabbath.
